After finishing her enlistment in the United States Air Force, Jenni decided to pursue her other passions. Jenni is currently a Linguistics major, but with plans to obtain a second degree in Environmental Science. She has always had a particular interest in the unique role that bats have within ecosystems. In 2014, she began attending educational workshops and programs related to Texas native bat species, and in early 2015 she began rehabilitating bats as a volunteer and board member of Southern Wildlife Rehab. As a student at the University of Texas at Austin, Jennifer is currently working as a Campus Environmental Center student employee, running a series of educational workshops related to bats! Her other interests include woodturning, reading, foreign languages (Russian), hiking, and all things Halloween.
